Research fields

The Gillberg Neuropsychiatry Centre's mission is to conduct research including the development and establishment of new methods of examination, study and treatment within neuropsychiatry and neurodevelopment, primarily in the areas of autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, oppositional defiant disorder (ODD), conduct disorder (CD) anorexia nervosa and other eating disorders, intellectual disability, communication disorders, specific learning disorder, developmental coordination disorder (DCD), epilepsy, cerebral palsy and other ESSENCE (Early Symptomatic Syndromes Eliciting Neurodevelopmental Clinical Examinations).
