Lucy Thompson är internationell forskningskoordinator vid Gillberg Neuropsychiatry Centre. Hon arbetar från University of Glasgow i Skottland och besöker regelbundet både Göteborg och de GNC-knutna centren i Europa och övriga världen. Lucy doktorerade i psykologi 2003 och har en masterexamen i folkhälsa från 2009. Hon har arbetat i en senior forskarroll på National Health Service (NHS) i Skottland i över 7 år, med fokus på utvärdering av offentligt finansierade hälsotjänster, huvudsakligen avseende barns tidiga utveckling. Hennes publikationer har bland annat undersökt hela befolkningsscreeningar av utvecklingsneurologiska problem och prövningar av föräldrastödprogram, och för närvarande bidrar hon till flera GNC-projekt rörande riskfaktorer i mycket tidiga år samt långsiktiga utfall för barn.
